HOUSTON — Sprint Safety has entered into an exclusive agreement with United SafeSee Systems LLC (SafeSee) to provide SafeSee’s confined space monitoring system to the petrochemical and refining industries.
“Our agreement with SafeSee provides Sprint Safety customers the latest technology in confined space monitoring,” said Sandy Scott, Sprint Safety’s CEO. “As we talked to our customers and looked at competitive offerings, we felt the portable design and additional features of the SafeSee system best addressed those needs.”
Unlike competitors, SafeSee offers portable confined space monitoring that sets up easily on site, combining video, gas detection, man-down capability and data recording with an automatic alert system. The automatic system sends text message alerts across Intrinsic Solutions’ digital radio network, reinforcing the role of traditional safety attendants while increasing safety and accountability resulting in overall project risk and liability reduction.
The SafeSee agreement, coming on the heels of the acquisition of Intrinsic Solutions, a leading provider of digital communications, demonstrates Sprint Safety’s commitment to become the industry technology leader.
