ALVIN, Texas — To supplement its portfolio of sulfiding services, Reactor Resources has added the capability of injecting amine compounds into hydrocrackers and hydrotreaters. Amines can be used as a safer alternative to ammonia when nitrogen passivation of hydrocracking catalysts is required. The compounds available for injection include TBA (tributyl amine) and MDEA (methyldiethanolamine).
Reactor Resources has established a new standard in sulfiding with the introduction of its patent pending SmartSkid™ Injection System. The SmartSkid is the safest and most accurate pumping systems available for sulfiding hydrotreating and hydrocracking units with DMDS (dimethyl disulfide) or TBPS (tertiary butyl polysulfide).
