HOUSTON — With increasing risks involved with confined space entry, Munoz Enterprises Inc. (MEI) has developed a robotic tank cleaning procedure to help mitigate these risks for its customers. For 30 years, MEI has developed a reputation of superior quality and service in the industrial tank cleaning industry, and it is now incorporating these qualities into its robotic division. The remotely operated vehicle (ROV) is used in MEI’s procedure as if an individual was handling the workload inside the tank. All movements are monitored on a screen directly in front of the operator on a control center located in an optimal position outside the tank. All components on the ROV are interchangeable to allow MEI’s robotic procedure to be utilized with the majority of products within the industry.
