CONROE, Texas — Hempel’s latest innovation for an anti-fouling tie-coat, HEMPADUR 47183, has been designed as an anti-corrosive coating/primer with tie-coat properties. HEMPADUR 47183 was introduced not only to meet increased competition and tighter volatile organic compound limits but also because it has improved anti-corrosive properties and can safely replace one primer coat for the underwater hull specifications. Additionally, due to higher volume solids, the HEMPADUR 47183 has a considerably lower square foot price.
