NORWALK, Conn. — CS Unitec’s Model 5 1212 0010 portable pneumatic hacksaw has a blade stroke of two-and-three-eighths inches and will cut 30-inches diameter pipe at 90 degrees in one pass. It is ideal for on-site cutting of pipes, tanks, structural steel and many other materials. The hacksaw’s compact, lightweight (16 pounds) design makes it easy to handle and operate, even in confined spaces. With a 1.5 horsepower air motor, it is safe to use in wet environments and Ex Zones with hazardous atmospheres. It is designed for use in water treatment facilities, chemical plants, refineries, power generation, offshore oil, pipeline construction, mining and marine. It uses 51 cubic feet per minute air volume at 90 psi air pressure.
CS Unitec offers an automatic feed pipe clamp for cutting pipe up to twelve-and-three-quarters inches diameter, and up to 30 inches in diameter with extension chains. The clamp easily attaches to the air hacksaw and shares the same 90 psi air supply. This self-feeding device saves operator time, increases safety and makes work easier.
