Kinder Morgan has canceled a $3.1 billion pipeline that would have delivered 1.3 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas to customers in New England. Via Bloomberg, the company’s debt load has ballooned to $41 billion in recent years and many of its customers have canceled orders for new capacity amid the oil market downturn. Kinder Morgan has reduced its 2016 capital budget twice in the past four months.
