HOUSTON — United Safety unveiled two groundbreaking safety innovations at this year’s AFPM Reliability & Maintenance Conference and Exhibition: TeQ™ Shield and Air TreQ™ Blinder. TeQ Shield is a system that integrates gas detection, video surveillance, two-way communication and access control to create an effective solution for confined space monitoring. Air TreQ Blinder is a highly portable unit that combines breathing air and pneumatic power source. The first U.S. customer for the Air TreQ Blinder, BASF, was represented by Cullen Smith at the launch event. “We have had a long relationship with BASF; it is an honor for us to have them present at the launch,” said Denis Auger, U.S. sales and marketing manager for United Safety.
