Over 250 of Olympus' employees from around the country participated in a Day of Caring in the Greater Atlantic City area, donating nearly 1,200 hours of volunteer time to local charities. Olympus recognizes the importance of supporting community organizations and is passionate about giving its employees opportunities to get involved.
Olympus Scientific Solutions Group employees in the area for their annual sales meeting were given the opportunity to select a local charity of their choice at which to volunteer four hours of their time. Participating charities included Clean the World, Career Opportunity Development Inc., Humane Society, Second Wind Dreams, The Community Food Bank of New Jersey and United Way Youth Support. "Community involvement is an integral part of our culture," said Fabrice Cancre, president, Olympus Scientific Solutions Group. "We are thrilled to bring our employees from all over the country together to volunteer their time to these deserving organizations."
