Mammoet has opened a new branch in Egypt. Mammoet is now represented in Cairo by Mammoet Egypt LLC.
“We are optimistic about Egypt’s political, economic and social developments. This country offers a big market with vast potential, and we are ready to take this opportunity,” said Director Khaled Ahmed.
The branch in Cairo is the second new office to be opened within a year, following the establishment of a new branch in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku, the heart of Central Asia.
With these new branches Mammoet is continuing its strategy to be a global company with local presence. This gives the company the opportunity to add to its regional network, tune in to customers and provide the best service.
Both new branches will support project operations. Furthermore, the company is relocating more people to its branch in Algeria, recognizing regional market potential.
Jan Kleijn, CEO and chairman of Mammoet Holding, said: “This year marks the occasion of Mammoet’s 40th anniversary in the Middle East. We are proud to have made great progress in expanding our operations, and to be involved in many key projects including Dubai Metro, Habshan, Jubail, Shaybah, Dubai Mall and others. Opening a branch in Egypt is a big step forward in enhancing our regional coverage for our clients. Power, civil, energy and infrastructure industries can all benefit from Mammoet’s know-how in optimizing the uptime of plants and installations, and improving construction efficiency.”
