NEW ORLEANS — Linde Engineering North America Inc. (LENA) recently exhibited and presented a paper at the 26th Annual Ethylene Producers’ Committee meeting, which is a part of the 2014 American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) spring meeting.
Shailendra Inamdar, director of process engineering at LENA, presented the paper. It was co-authored with Robert Stegemann, conceptual design engineer at Linde’s Engineering Division in Pullach, Germany. The paper is a review of approaches to manage ethylene furnace availability by reducing likelihood and duration of unscheduled downtime.
