HOUSTON — The Hi-Force factory recently completed building four pieces of special double-acting cylinders, model HDA40024. The customer-specified cylinders were designed, machined, assembled and tested at the factory with all the machining undertaken on the recently acquired CNC Lathe Machine, SL603.
These 437-ton capacity, double-acting cylinders have a stroke of 24 inches and are the longest bore cylinders produced to date on the new machines; however, with a bed length of 9 feet, 10 inches, there is still plenty of opportunity to better this milestone.
