ABERDEEN, Scotland and EDMONTON, Alberta — Scottish-based Equalizer International has signed an exclusive distributor agreement with The Pickford Group in Canada. The agreement gives The Pickford Group sole distribution rights for the full range of Equalizer tools in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Northwest Territory, Yukon Territory and British Columbia.
Ian McCormick, chairman and managing director of Equalizer International, said they planned to increase their presence in the Canadian market since opening up their first North American office in Houston in 2013.
“Our business in North America has grown considerably since we set up in Houston, and Canada is increasingly important to us,” said McCormick. “We are delighted we have signed this agreement with The Pickford Group, which has many years of experience in this very niche part of the market.”
