U.S. refiners are on track to ship a record amount of fuel to Europe this month, Bloomberg reports. Oil companies have either booked or are planning to charter 16 tankers for loading during the next two weeks — the most since Nov. 6. Each tanker has a cargo size of 38,000 metric tons, implying exports of 325,000 barrels per day. According to data from the Energy Department, Gulf Coast refineries processed 8.62 million barrels per day of crude oil last week — the highest level for that time of year since 1992.
