Enterprise has started commercial operations at its new natural gas processing plant in Eddy County, New Mexico, the company announced Tuesday. The South Eddy plant has a nameplate capacity of 200 million cubic feet per day and can extract up to 25,000 barrels per day of NGLs. The project also included 90 miles of high-pressure gathering lines and a 71-mile extension of Enterprise’s Mid-American pipeline system.
Enterprise CEO Jim Teague said the project is part of the company’s goal of doubling its Delaware Basin natural gas processing capacity this year. Enterprise is set to bring a second natural gas processing facility on line as part of a joint venture later this year.
