EnLink Midstream on Tuesday announced it would build a $200 million, 120 million-cubic-feet-per-day natural gas processing plant in the Permian Basin. The new processing plant will be located near EnLink’s existing midstream assets in Martin County, Texas. The plant will double the firm’s total operated capacity in the region and double its total capital investment in the Permian. EnLink also signed a long-term fee-based agreement with Devon Energy to provide gathering and processing services for an 18,000-acre area in Martin County. The processing plant is expected to be operational in the second half of 2015.
EnLink also entered a joint venture with Marathon Petroleum to build a 30-mile natural gas liquids pipeline from Enlink’s Riverside fractionation and terminal complex to Marathon’s Garyville, La., refinery. The pipeline is expected to be operational in 2017.
