Netherlands-based fertilizer company OCI N.V. announced today it will build a new greenfield world-scale methanol plant in Beaumont, Texas. The 5,000-metric-tons-per-day facility is expected to come online in late 2016. It will be the largest methanol plant in the United States when completed.
