Marathon Petroleum today announced Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary Michael Wilder would retire effective March 1. Assistant general counsels Suzanne Gagle and Molly Benson will move into the roles of vice president and general counsel and vice president, corporate secretary and chief compliance officer, respectively. Wilder joined Ashland Petroleum as a staff attorney in 1978 and became general counsel of the Marathon Ashland joint venture in 1998. He assumed his current position in 2011.
