Flint Hills Resources today unveiled plans to build a new ethanol terminal in Buda, Texas. Via the Austin Business Journal, the terminal will include a rail spur, two storage tanks and a truck-loading rack. Construction will begin this month, and the facility is expected start up by the end of the year.
Flint Hills operates six ethanol plants in Georgia, Iowa and Nebraska with a combined annual capacity of 820 million gallons. The Buda ethanol terminal will be its first in Texas.
