Westlake Chemical today announced it agreed to acquire German PVC resin producer Vinnolit from a private equity firm for $667 million. Vinnolit produces approximately 780,000 metric tons of PVC per year at six facilities located in Germany and the UK. It generated approximately $1.2 billion in revenue last year and has approximately 1,4000 employees. The acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter of this year.
