Flint Hills Resources is shutting its light olefins unit in Port Arthur, Texas, for a two-month planned turnaround, Platts reports. The company said in a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality the turnaround would be complete by Oct. 14. The unit produces approximately 634,000 mt/year of ethylene and 317,000 mt/year of propylene.
