Three people suffered minor injuries in a crane accident today at ExxonMobil’s Torrance, California, refinery. Via NBC Los Angeles, local firefighters said the 300-ton crane tipped over while it was moving debris. ExxonMobil said there was no impact to the community.
ExxonMobil restarted the refinery — which had been running at a reduced rate since a February 2015 explosion — last month. PBF Energy last September agreed to buy it from ExxonMobil.
