The United Steelworkers union on Monday night tentatively accepted a deal with Marathon’s Galveston Bay Refinery in Texas City, Texas, to end a four-month strike at the site. Via FuelFix, the deal would finally put an end to the nationwide refinery and chemical plant strike that began Feb. 1. Marathon representatives will meet with the union today to discuss the process of returning the union members to work.
