An explosion and fire at an oil rig in southeastern Oklahoma early today killed two people and injured two others, the Associated Press reports. The explosion occurred about two miles west of Coalgate, Okla., located approximately 100 miles southeast of Oklahoma City. State officials said there were no reports of environmental damage and no evacuations were needed. Pablo Energy of Amarillo, Texas, owns the rig.
