Flint Hills Resources responded to a release of sulfur dioxide and hydrogen sulfide from a tank at its West Refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas, Tuesday afternoon. Via the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, the incident resulted in the shutdown of a major local corridor, but no injuries were reported. All nonessential personnel were asked to leave the refinery and all employees were accounted for. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
