A flash fire broke out inside Chevron Phillips Chemical’s Port Arthur, Texas, chemical plant Monday evening, injuring two workers. Local authorities said one of the injured workers was taken to a Houston hospital for treatment.
Chevron Phillips said in a statement the situation was under control and that the cause of the fire had yet to be determined. The company confirmed that all personnel were accounted for.
