NEW ORLEANS — Livery Passenger Transportation recently won its fourth consecutive Clean Fleet Leader award for 2013-2014. This award was presented to Livery Passenger Transportation by Southeast Louisiana Clean Fuel Partnership. It is given to fleets whose goal is to reduce the region’s dependence on foreign oil by replacing gasoline with cleaner fuel alternatives. Most of Livery Passenger Transportation’s fleet runs on propane and the company has a propane tank at its facility to fuel on site. This year Livery Passenger Transportation saved 9,610 gallons of gasoline by substituting propane.
