SMITHFIELD, R.I. — Hearing conservation experts from Honeywell will host a series of free seminars to show how, with the proper education, motivation and protection, hearing loss can be 100-percent preventable.
“Howard Leight® HearForever™: Best Practices in Effective Hearing Conservation” seminars are approved for continuing education credit by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene. Topics will include basics of noise-induced hearing loss, key elements of an effective hearing conservation program, reducing costs for hearing loss and more.
The half-day seminars will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in Milwaukee, Oct. 14; Merrillville, Ind., Oct 15; Grand Rapids, Mich., Oct. 16 and Novi, Mich., Oct. 17.
Attendees receive free training materials, literature and hearing protection samples and will participate in hands-on demonstrations of new hearing conservation technologies.
