PASADENA, Texas — Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services recently hosted two charity golf tournaments benefitting Combat Marine Outdoors (CMO), a nonprofit organization dedicated to aiding the rehabilitation of Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors and Navy Corpsmen recovering from traumatic injuries sustained in combat. Together these two tournaments raised $51,000 in support of the CMO.
Brand’s LaPlace, Louisiana, office and River Parishes region hosted more than 200 golfers at its First Annual CMO Golf Classic and raised $23,000 for the cause. A great time was had by all, including the many volunteers, such as the team from Marathon’s Garyville, Louisiana, refinery, who partnered with Brand to provide and staff the food and refreshment tent. The Fourth Annual Spring Charity Golf Tournament hosted by Brand’s Texas team raised a total of $28,000 and hosted approximately 140 golfers.
To recognize Brand for its efforts and contributions, the CMO has inducted the company as the third member of its esteemed Hall of Honors.
Brand will host another tournament on Aug. 14 at Pelican Point Golf Club in Gonzales, Louisiana.
