Valero on Wednesday reported a process unit upset that resulted in flaring at its Houston refinery. Via the Wall Street Journal, Valero told the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality flaring began and was completed on Tuesday and the unit was safely depressurized.
Last week Valero reported a leak at the refinery that was brought under control and caused no impact to the community.
