Marathon Petroleum on Sunday shut down the hydrocracking unit at its Galveston Bay refinery in Texas City, Texas, after a temporary loss of steam, Reuters reports. The steam supply was restored approximately 45 minutes after the outage, and all other units were brought back up by mid-afternoon on Sunday.
Reuters also reported that an electrician was injured at the refinery on Friday while working on the hydrocracking unit. Marathon said he was being treated for lacerations and chemical exposure.
