LyondellBasell is working to restore production at its Houston refinery after a Thursday power outage resulted in a loss of steam, Reuters reports. Sources said the refinery’s two crude distillation units are operating at reduced levels and its 90,000-barrel-per-day FCCU will be restarted over the weekend. A single steam turbine was restarted on Thursday, and a backup turbine will be restarted to support the FCCU. No injuries were reported.
