IRS rents radios to Kinder Morgan-approved contractors

HOUSTON — Industrial Radio Services (IRS) is the existing radio rental vendor for Kinder Morgan. Through multisite radio rentals, IRS supplies one of the world’s largest energy companies with an IRSRENTAL multizone radio package that covers multiple Kinder Morgan sites and construction projects in one unit and has direct private channels for customer use.

Each radio will be set up as a Kinder Morgan Firewatch radio. The rental package includes:

• One Motorola XPR7550 1,000-channel UL-rated intrinsically safe (I.S.) radio.
• Two UL I.S.-rated spare batteries with belt clips.
• One lapel speaker microphone.
• One desktop charger.
