Personal safety is a primary concern for every lone or remote worker in an industrial setting. Add in confined spaces or dangerous materials and the potential for injury increases exponentially.
Knowing a person has entered an area in which they are seeing a gas hazard, or having a personal emergency, can literally mean the difference between life and death. While that person is experiencing the emergency, they may not be able to help themselves and nearby associates may not be trained rescuers and could further add to the tragedy that is unfolding.
