BATON ROUGE, La. — Recently, 2-year-old Brantly Williams returned to his Walker-area home, after three months at the Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, to cheers from family members and a group of TEAM Turner™ volunteers who had spent days in the heat building a ramp to make his family’s home wheelchair accessible.
A devastating four-wheeler accident on Mother’s Day left Williams with a traumatic brain injury, greatly diminished eyesight and months, if not years, of recovery ahead.
