CLINTON, La. — Employees of PacTec Inc. celebrated Independence Day by making a $1,202 donation to the Wounded Warrior Project, which is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, services and events for wounded veterans. Funds were raised in $2 increments in exchange for wearing blue jeans on dedicated days. PacTec then matched dollar for dollar what employees contributed, empowering its team to make a bigger difference. So far this year, PacTec employees have donated over $1,800 to this effort.
“It’s a small price for us to pay in exchange for the tremendous amount our veterans have given us,” said PacTec’s Craig Attuso. “We thank those who fight and sacrifice for our freedoms today, and wish them success once they return from battle.”
