BATON ROUGE, La. — JM Test Systems recently acquired a new facility in Mattoon, Illinois, and expanded services at its location in Clute, Texas.
The new laboratory currently specializes in electrical safety testing and tool repair but is expected to expand its services to provide all electrical testing services offered at the Baton Rouge location’s Electrical Safety Lab. The acquisition is expected to increase mobility to 10 states that previously could not be reached for service. The new facility will have an official grand opening in May.
JM Test Systems’ location in Clute is an ISO 17025-accredited testing lab and is fully equipped to perform NIST traceable calibrations. The Texas location recently began accepting walk-in orders and stocking inventory available for customers to purchase or rent. This expansion will allow for faster turnarounds and reduced shipping costs for customers throughout Texas.
