The ISO 9001:2015 standard is based on a number of quality management principles, including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. It is designed to help businesses and organizations be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction.
The new ISO 9001:2015 quality management standard is an update to the ISO 9001:2008 certification. Although the deadline is not until September 2018, Chet Morrison opted to pursue an updated 9001:2015 certification for both divisions early.
