PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) has partnered with Williams Fire & Hazard Control Inc. to provide the only third-party certification training course curriculum of its kind in the industry with TEEX’s world-renowned firefighter academy.
The partnership will incorporate a combination of both TEEX and Williams’ courses to educate trainees at the Williams operational facility in Port Arthur and TEEX students.
TEEX has authorized the industrial fire response and prevention company to conduct NFPA Pro Board-certified courses utilizing the TEEX curriculum and accreditation process, offering students nationally recognized third-party accreditation. TEEX has also authorized the offering of NFPA 1041 Fire Instructor I and NFPA 472 Bulk Storage Certification courses, with more planned for the future.
