Cheniere Energy has started commissioning its Sabine Pass LNG export terminal in southwestern Louisiana, Bloomberg reports. An official at Bechtel Corp. told Bloomberg the facility is on track to begin producing by the end of the year.
Cheniere CEO Charif Souki in August said five of the six liquefaction plants planned for the facility are under construction.
