Sempra Energy has filed for an expansion of its Cameron LNG export facility in Hackberry, La., that would boost the terminal’s capacity by two-thirds. The project would expand the number of liquefaction trains from three to five, increasing production capacity by 9.97 million metric tons per year to 24.92 million.
