Kinder Morgan is planning to start up a second new condensate splitter at its Houston Ship Channel complex in July. Via Reuters, the company will begin commissioning the 50,000-barrel-per-day unit next week. Kinder Morgan started up the first of the two splitters at the complex in March. Reuters notes that BP has a 10-year deal with Kinder Morgan to buy all the output from the two splitters.
