Mexico national oil company Pemex has hired Fluor for a $1 billion project to rebuild its Maduro refinery in the state of Tamaulipas. Via FuelFix, the project, which is expected to be complete in 2018, includes the construction of two 25,000-bpd diesel units and the revamp of an existing diesel unit. Pemex recently announced plans to modernize its refineries.
