Enterprise Products Partners said last week it would provide pipeline and terminal services for a 600,000-barrel cargo of crude oil to be exported in January. Enterprise CEO Jim Teague said the cargo, which will load at the company’s Houston Ship Channel terminal, might be the first oil exported from the Gulf Coast in nearly 40 years.
President Obama earlier this month signed into law a bill that removed the U.S. ban on crude oil exports.
