An FCCU at ExxonMobil’s Torrance, California, refinery is running at 75% amid repairs expected to last up to 30 days, Reuters reports. The unit was shut down after a February 2015 explosion that left the refinery running at partial capacity for more than a year.
ExxonMobil restarted the refinery earlier this week. The company must restore the FCCU to full working order before it can sell the refinery to PBF Energy under the terms of an agreement made last September.
