Williams Companies reportedly rejected a recent buyout offer from Enterprise Products Partners — a deal that would have created an $80 billion midstream juggernaut. Via the Financial Times, Enterprise approached Williams about a possible acquisition shortly after the latter’s sale to Energy Transfer Partners fell through in June. Enterprise is reportedly still interested in acquiring Williams, which has seen a series of shakeups among its board of directors as of late.
