Canyon Midstream starts up gas processing facility in Oklahoma
Canyon Midstream Partners II LLC (CMP2) has commenced operations at its newly constructed natural gas processing facility in Woodward County, Oklahoma. The Redcliff Plant processes gas volumes gathered on an extensive pipeline system constructed by CMP2 in Oklahoma's Woodward, Dewey, Blaine and Canadian counties. The Redcliff system serves producers across more than 57,000 dedicated acres in the volatile oil, condensate and wet gas windows of the highly economic STACK play.
The Redcliff Plant provides its customers with 200 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) of cryogenic gas processing capacity and access to premium residue gas markets on ANR and Southern Star Central. The Redcliff Gathering System currently includes 84 miles of 20-inch steel trunkline and five field compression stations with 21,000 horsepower (hp) of installed compression. An additional 5,500 hp of compression is on order in anticipation of well completions scheduled over the next six months. CMP2 has commenced preliminary evaluation and design work for a second 200-MMcf/d processing train at the Redcliff Plant.

Transco files for Southeastern Trail expansion project
Transco, a wholly owned subsidiary of Williams Partners LP, has filed an application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to seek authorization for its Southeastern Trail expansion project, which would create 296,375 dekatherms per day of additional firm transportation capacity to markets in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S. for the 2020/2021 winter heating season.
Williams Partners has executed precedent agreements with utility and local distribution companies located in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia for firm transportation service under the project. Once complete, the project will help meet the growing natural gas demand in the Southeast, as well as provide access to new sources of domestic natural gas supply while enhancing system reliability.

Governors extend Tri-State Shale Coalition agreement through 2021
Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf extended the three-state agreement with Gov. Jim Justice of West Virginia and Gov. John Kasich of Ohio to collaborate on efforts to maximize the use of the shared natural gas resources in the Appalachian Basin. The extension of this agreement by all states signifies to domestic and international markets that the region's shared goal is to maximize opportunities for these resources to be used to support additional manufacturing opportunities within the region rather than simply export the resources to other areas.
Originally signed in 2015, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) among the governors of the three-member states of the Tri-State Shale Coalition has led to significant progress in the areas of commonly shared infrastructure, workforce, marketing and research.
The extension of this MOU will automatically renew the agreement on an annual basis through Dec. 31, 2021.
