Cheniere Energy has received final approval to export natural gas from its Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project. Cheniere is close to making a final investment decision on the project, which would have the capacity to export 13.5 metric tons per year of natural gas under current plants. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved the project in January.
