Regarding the impact of midstream gas and oil infrastructure and how take-away solutions are evolving, Shelley Corman-Frisby, vice president of business development for Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, said she believes that “part of the solution is improved utilization of the instate infrastructure we already have on existing pipes heading east.”
“We think Katy, Texas is a logical place, because it can connect to the markets that go to the Houston Ship Channel, it can jump into the interstate market to serve LNG in Texas or to head further north to Perryville, to Louisiana, to some of the other industrial power and the other LNG projects,” Corman-Frisby continued, speaking on panel focused on midstream and gas processing at the 2018 ADI Natural Gas and NGL Forum held recently in Houston, Texas.
