Praxair will spend more than $100 million to expand carbon monoxide production at its Geismar, Louisiana, plant, the company announced Wednesday. Praxair will add a 13 million standard cubic feet per day CO purification train that will include a cold box and other upgrades that leverage the company’s proprietary technologies. The facility is expected to be complete in the second half of 2018.
