Midcontinent refiners will take approximately 14% of their crude unit capacity offline for planned maintenance in April, according to the Energy Information Administration (EIA). Via Argus Media, refiners in that region will also idle 13% of their reformer capacity for planned work.
Planned maintenance at Gulf Coast refineries will largely wrap up this month, while crude unit maintenance on the West Coast will increase in April, EIA said.
